About Department
Sports department was established in 2006 in Bajaur, the Sports Departmetn promotes Sports activities in the whole District and providees Sports equipments and facilites in various sort of activities in the Distirct.
Organization structure
The heirchy of the Department is as, District Sports Manager, Computer Operator, Supporting staff (7).
Function
1.Provision of sports facilities and promotion of sport activities in District Bajaur.
2.Provision of sports goods.
Objective
To involve Maximam youth in sports activities.
Vision/Future Plan
Expansion of sports activities to remote areas
Development Project
Sports acedemies / Grounds will be constructed at District and Tehsil levels to generate revenue .
Achievements
Three players from District Bajaur participated in National team
Cricket (2)and Volley Ball (1).
